I'm not seeing the art part of this. You are just playing a Esurge Mesmer.

Hey.. i can't help it that we have so much artists in here, that people even forget that other things are also allowed in here

Thanks for showing interest tho...

It's called Nolani Academy of Arts though.
I don't really think it fits here. And I doubt anyone interested in actual gameplay footage would go check out here to find some builds.

Would rather fit in the Campfire area in my oppinion.

Hehe Luckily it doesn't matter what you think.. but it matters what the forum rules are

Also. I didn't make this video to show a build or something. As it's a very standard PvX build (slightly different). I just made a pvp video with Energy Surge Alot of people enjoy these kind of videos.

Campfire would rip into his gameplay and leave nothing but ash. lol @ 2 weapon slots.

But yeah, gameplay videos are very basic and only provide simple exposure to a build. There is no explanation involved with what you're doing and why you're doing it. This ultimately creates the lack of artistic endeavour. Simply showcasing a build, from a purist opinion, takes no reasonable amount of skill (and neither does that build) in order to actually call it art.

Also, I'm going to give you 3/5 because you Leech sig'd that sin's lead attack and he didn't notice, carried on his chain and killed himself with Empathy. But again, there was no emphasis on that, and surely didn't need 4 minutes to watch you faceroll.

So the conclusion is.. we need a subforum for basic videos like this! haha but no rly. You are right. It's a pretty basic video. But it was all recorded today. Maybe i should collect more "good" material, like the lead attack rupt etc. And create a better video ^^

Honestly. There is also no need for bashing me. (i'm not saying you are). When bad artists make awful drawings and post em here, people also stay nice and give constructive critisicm. So i hope i can get the same treatment. Otherwise i'm slightly dissapointed in the art community :/

Anyways.. Hope you guys enjoy the video nonetheless!

Because it says Video's under Nolani Academy doesn't mean you can't post it anywhere else. It's mainly directed to Music Video's, Machinema and so on.

Personally I'm not really into video's this. And I'm especially not a fan of 1-2-3 spam builds.
I would recommend playing a more interesting build that requires more skill. And get some more equipment.
Perhaps some more editing and special effect.
The annoying part while watching was that the video was pretty laggy and sometimes froze.

I hate that Nolani is pretty broad. I didn't like the video (Sorry) and I don't really consider it art. :\ Recording gameplay and adding a song is minimal effort at best... If you're looking to get into video creation I can give you some links and people to talk to~ That would be a more appropriate thread and would probably be received a little bit better here in Nolani.

Closed for now. :( Sorry. <3

I hope this doesn't discourage you. :] I hope to see more (artsy) videos in the future from you! & maybe we mods can clarify videos a bit more and post a sticky with helpful stuff. :p
